House Work

Nick and I began the task of refinishing the wood floors in the bedrooms this weekend after having spent all last week painting two of the bedrooms.

We knew it would be a large undertaking, but didn't realize how large. Luckily we're nearly done (just need to put down a few coats of sealer/polyurethane and then they'll be sparkly and beautiful! I'll post more about the process with pictures in a later post when done. Now I am realizing that since we began this we have added on another two projects (crown molding and new baseboards) - we'll be taking many more trips to Home Depot in the future.

Can't wait to finish so we can move-in, unpack, and then invite everyone over for a housewarming! In the meantime it's back to the house to do some more work. :-)
